Sewing II

I pinned it carefully and hemmed two sides and sewed a rod pocket at the top. It's a very mellow and mentally restful activity. Like knitting, it keeps your mind engaged, but relaxed. It is the perfect companion activity to watching the documentary "The War" on PBS.

I am trying my hand at this to see if I might like to ask Santa Claus for a sewing machine for Christmas.

At one point tonight, J said "I didn't know you knew how to sew like that!" I had to tell him that I didn't have a clue and I was making it up as I went along.
