Spying

Almost the moment we walked in, I saw their mantle. Above it was hanging one of my best-ever photographs - in fact, a one-of-a-kind photograph because it's the only one that I ever managed to successfully hand color. It was a really cool feeling to walk into someone's home and see a piece of my work proudly displayed.

Tray also still had this old calendar that I gave him years ago - coffee-themed, of course. It was out of date so we rotated the dials until it was set to their upcoming wedding date: June 20th! I hope that no one will change it until they come home from their honeymoon, but I took a picture just in case.

We also added a little "Just Married" to their chalk board in the entry-way.
