Swings
I love this swing and the invented games tacked to the tree. When I was little, my sister and I played non-stop with the next door neighbor who had a rope swing over what we remember as "a giant ravine" (most likely a shallow ditch). We invented all kinds of games and tricks and gave them names - I wish I had written those down somewhere!

That ravine was SUPER deep. Like 30 feet. If rope swing was an olympic sport, wew would have totally won gold.
Funny, I cannot remember the name of one trick we took so seriously.
I remember the swing my Dad put up in the backyard for me. I loved to see if I could swing higher and higher to touch the next limb. I'm suprised that my mother let me be so daring. Then with great delight I'd take a flying leap out of the swing.
