A Different Day

For a wonderful change of pace, we decided to head out to the beach today. I love to go to the beach in winter when you have the whole place to yourself. It's like my reset button - it just does me so much good to relax, hear silence and nature and waves - have wind and sun and salt and sand on my face and in my hair.

Those are the nearest two people in the far distance. I like this one because I thought the light looked like a ribbon on the edge of the water.

Afterwards, I felt that lovely tired you get from being outdoors all day. It was great!
