Tiniest Sand Dollars

Remember the hundreds of sand dollars I mentioned? On our last walk on the beach, we started finding smaller and smaller dead ones until we made it into a little contest to see who could find the smallest sand dollar. Mrs. Dragonfire won, so I photographed her collection in her hand. I have done this myself many times, as you know, but there is something really special about photographing other peoples' hands, especially of your loved ones. You never really get to sit and stare at someone's hands but when it's frozen in a photograph you get that chance.
