Revisit

We didn't stray too far out of town so instead, we revisited some of my old photographic haunts. I shot this old car (above, May 2008) during the first few weeks of being in school - on slide film.

Going back to the same place over and over again can be a wonderful experience - it reminds me that no photograph, never ever, can be exactly the same again. It happened once and only once and will never be the same.

This is the shot from two years ago (below, June 2006). I stood in this same spot to see if I could see it again but it was gone.
