Super Awesome Best Photo of 2007 Contest and Giveaway!!!!
Hi All,
In an effort to make this blog more interactive, and to celebrate that this is currently my 600TH BLOG POST, I am asking you to vote on your favorite blog picture from 2007!!!! To enter in the contest, just look at the top twelve choices below (one from each month) and then use the comments to VOTE for your favorite photo! You can always "write in" a candidate too if your favorite isn't here. I will put the names of everyone who votes into a hat and the winner will receive a print of your choice!!!

Is the Washington state picture a test? Because it looks exactly like the microsoft desktop.
I, of course, must vote for myself, but if I win the giveaway can I have the self portrait of you instead, since I already have the picture of me?

Ships is awesome. That's my choice. I'll agree with the consensus and say that red boots is really good as well.
I'm gonna go ahead and say the self-portrait, by a horse-length! And J comes in second to that.

The scud-running ships, moored in the flooding tide.
....so hard to choose, but Kirsten and I say the red boots wins....with the ships a very close second.

Martha, all these photos are amazing, as usual. my fave is jones beach - followed closely by your self portrait and the feb flower.
Ships - I feel like I'm looking at a stylized WWII poster.
I consulted Julia on this one. She likes "All of them!" I asked her, if she could pick one, which one would she wants. She still wants all of them, so I'm doing the picking - and I like the beach photo. A close second for me is the boats.
Julia still says she likes all of them, but she keeps wanting to see the 'Lots of Js' photo.
Truly great stuff! I have to vote for the red boots - the concrete under the water is truly magical.
