M (the elder) at the beach

Today my sister came to visit me in Seattle. She flew in late at night, we got to bed at 3 AM and woke up at 8 AM. We had the whole day to spend together before she flies out tonight at midnight.

Rather than do the whirlwind tourist tour of Seattle, I just showed her around my neighborhoods and usual haunts. (Yes, I have usual haunts already).

We went to the beach, which I am in love with if you can't already tell. She let me take 100 million pictures of her. I think the new toy and the new technique is particularly suited to doing portraits. She may not like these, she hasn't seen them yet, but I LOVE THEM. I hope she won't mind me putting them up. I was so excited about them that I photoshopped all night and had to post them right away.
