Beach I

I went to the beach on Saturday by myself. Sort of like a little mini-revisit to my vacation. I took my new contraption and took loads of pictures. I am finally starting to get the hang of it and I really like the way these are turning out. You can either focus sharply on the glass of the old camera, which shows all the grit and dirt. Or you can focus through the glass to the object which makes the edges of the glass blur really nicely and softly and can be a great effect.

I love doing self portraits. My photo friends and I have a theory that we seem to do them when we're lonely. Sometimes that's true.
