Baseball on the 4th of July

Went home to spend Fourth of July (my favorite holiday) with my parents. I really wanted to take my Dad to see a baseball game so we went to see the Prince William Cannons (that's what they were called when I was little, they are the Potomac Nationals now) at the stadium close to home. I love minor league baseball games and it doesn't get any more American that baseball on Fourth of July weekend. My Dad had a blast at the game and I am so glad I took him. My mom, on the other hand, was hit very hard with a cracking foul ball that broke her wrist and bruised her badly. Like a trooper though, she insisted on staying the rest of the game and we took the offending baseball home with us.
