Prospect Park
A long walk in the park today inspired me.

I wanted to take a couple of photographs of our place as we get ready to move away. I know this place will always hold a special place in our hearts because we spent so many wonderful years here, and got married here!
This is where it all began. This was the first photo in the deliberate photo-a-day project. I had no idea when I took this picture what this project would turn into. If you had shown me work I was doing now back on November 29th, 2006, I wouldn't have believed they were mine.
Here's my first glimpse of my tiny little new "niece" Hathaway, born a month ago. Her mom didn't want me to use my lights on her so I only have these soft window light photos. Her little hands are so sweet.
Today I am in Boston, shooting Richard in the studio. He let me borrow an amazing lens, which is why you haven't seen this much detail in any of my photographs before or after this shoot.
Today we watched the New York Marathon from our street in Brooklyn. I love to do this every year because it's so fun and exciting. We live at about mile 6-7 so we get to see the Elite Runners when they're fresh but still holding back. We get to see the regular runners when they are fresh and still have the energy to be crazy. Scroll down for more photos.
