DSC_1176_web640Finally, about three more hours later, a rainstorm came through. I like this because each drop contains a miniature version of the building across the street.

So, yeah, this is what we saw of Prague. We also saw the inside of the nearby pharmacy (for much medicine) and the grocery store (for bananas and Czech gatorade).

DSC_1145_web640About three hours later, my interest was on the street below.

Plant

DSC_1134_web640I shot the large tropical plant in our room being shined on by a skylight. At some point when I was doing this, J awoke just briefly from his haze to ask me what the hell I was doing. He must have been hearing the shutter for some time.

Self-Prague

DSC_1096_web640I turned my camera on the next willing and available subject and spent and appaulingly long time taking pictures of my own reflection.

Prague II

DSC_1084_web640With no way to entertain myself for hours on end (packed light, no books, TV was in Czech, still couldn't leave J), I turned to my trusty friend D70 to give me something to do. Obvious choice: look out the window. After several hours though, there wasn't much more of this building I could shoot.

Prague

DSC_1078_web640Here is J, in Prague, sick with "The Hapsburg's Revenge" (whatever happened to the blog where we wrote about all this stuff?). Anyways, he was sick and we were therefore completely stuck in our hotel room. I couldn't leave him and go touring around Prague having a grand old time, could I?
