We got invited to a wig party! Making our own wigs from household materials won us brownie points and a fabulous little trophy for best wigs.

Expected to have a sullen dreary weekend full of wind and rain. Good for feeling sad and poetic. Instead, blessed with gorgeous weather - possibly the best weather I've ever gotten on the Oregon Coast. Quickly regrouped for long bracing walks in the sunshine.

Mom and I took a trip up to the mountains and walked in the meadow despite the freezing cold. This is where we always camped growing up.
